Dr. Ben Maruthappu crowned overall winner of the
EY UK Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award 2024

THURSDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2024, LONDON, UK: Dr. Ben Maruthappu of Cera has been named the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2024 UK overall winner. A distinguished leader in healthcare innovation, the judges recognised Dr. Maruthappu for his contribution to the UK healthcare sector through Cera Care's pioneering use of technology. Dr. Maruthappu will represent the UK at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ in 2025.

Entrepreneur Of The Year recognises exceptional entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary vision, resilience, and dedication to making a positive impact. The programme celebrates leaders who not only excel in business but who also work to improve quality of life in their communities, countries, and around the world.

Over 150 entrepreneurs from across the UK entered the 2024 programme, with 10 UK finalists competing for the prestigious UK title. This year's finalists have driven meaningful change, creating jobs, inspiring growth, and making lasting contributions to their industries and communities.

The 2024 UK final also recognised two additional exceptional leaders:

• Dr. Anil Ohri of Regent's Park Healthcare was named the 2024 UK Societal Impact award winner. Driven by a personal mission to make healthcare more accessible and efficient, Dr. Ohri aims to improve the lives of thousands of patients across the UK.

• Lucy Goff of LYMA Life received the Changemaker award for her innovative work in the wellness industry. Lucy's company, LYMA Life, has redefined wellness with groundbreaking supplements, lasers, and skincare, including the first FDA-cleared clinic-grade laser for home use. Her digital-first brand serves customers in over 70 countries.
