Tackling economic inactivity, rebuilding lives and boosting the economy
In October 2024, Cera launched a cross-sector Coalition to get Britain Back to Work – creating thousands of jobs in care for the unemployed and economically inactive. With 9.2 million UK adults economically inactive and half a million new care workers needed by 2040, Cera's scheme is rebuilding lives while simultaneously rebuilding the home care workforce.
