Who we've
worked with
The problem we're looking to solve
Fixing a broken health and social care sector is complex, and we understand that we can't do it alone. That's why, since we launched, we've partnered with innovative and impactful organisations across a range of sectors. We understand that collaboration and embracing different perspectives and skill-sets are what drive real innovation.

We work with two-thirds of NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) to deliver clinical healthcare in the community. From complex and nurse-led care to reablement services that accelerate hospital discharges, Cera provides clinical care on behalf of the NHS – with teams of registered nurses and healthcare professionals who deliver and oversee care at home.
Cera's model of care drastically eases pressure on the NHS, with our home-first, prevention-led model saving the UK Government and NHS £1.5 million daily by predicting and preventing illness and injury, reducing costly hospitalisations and reducing the need for service users to be moved into residential care.

At the very outset of the COVID pandemic, the resourcing and capacity deficit facing the social care sector became more apparent and more critical than ever before. We partnered with the Department for Health and Social Care to establish Join Social Care, a pioneering recruitment platform built for the Government at no additional cost and leveraged for a nationwide social care recruitment campaign.
During the pandemic, through this partnership, we were able to introduce thousands of new candidates into the sector at a time of unprecedented pressure – whilst at the same time putting people back to work during the economic downturn.

To address the UK's £800m medication non-adherence issue, Cera has partnered with PillSorted, a personalised pharmacy service, to help older and vulnerable communities have their repeat prescriptions delivered to their door at the touch of a button by their carer.
By linking pharmacy prescriptions with the Electronic Medicines Administration Records (eMAR) stored in the digital health profiles of our service users, we minimise the danger of vulnerable people missing out on vital medication.

Cera works closely with Skills for Care, participating in events and consultations to support and develop the care workforce of the future – creating best practices in training, recruitment and staff wellbeing.
We sit on the Healthcare Activities Steering Group and are endorsed by Skills for Care as a best-in-class training provider. We also hold a Skills for Care quality mark, which enables us to deliver accredited training via their Quality Assured Care Learning Service.
Social value partnerships
In addition to our partnership with Skills for Care, we partner with private, public and third-sector organisations to support our social value initiatives.
As part of our Back to Work coalition, we partner with Skills for Care, PeoplePlus, Maximus, Beam, and DWP. The coalition creates thousands of jobs for the unemployed and economically inactive – providing the practical and emotional support they need to build sustainable careers in home healthcare.
We partner with eForests Ltd to offset our carbon footprint by planting 640 trees each year in community woodlands, nature reserves, and community farms. We also dedicate trees to mark special occasions, such as service users' birthdays and staff long service milestones.
